Our Mission Statement:   We are a worshiping Anglican Community, nourished by Liturgy, Scripture, Sacraments, Prayer, and Fellowship. We are guided by the Holy Spirit to care for God’s creation, so that all may know the peace of Christ and the power of His Resurrection.

Our Vision Statement:  We will become a more caring community of believers who learn together, nurture and support each other, and reach out to the community at large with the love of Christ.

We are a single-congregation parish eagerly serving the kingdom of God in the beautiful town of Woodstock, New Brunswick, nestled in the Saint John River valley.   Our church family includes 120 households and there is an average Sunday attendance of 85 who gather to joyfully worship God in Christ Jesus.   Our parish offers Holy Eucharist using the Book of Alternative Service and Common Praise Hymnbook along with contemporary praise songs.  Worship is held 10:30 am each Sunday including Sunday School, from September to May, with a Family Worship and Puppet Ministry on the fourth Sunday of the month.  For our worship venue, we use St. Luke’s from September to June, and during the summer months of July and August we worship at Christ Church. We offer a range of ministries including Youth Group, Women’s Groups, Bible Study, Christian Education for Lay Readers, and hold dinners and other events throughout the year.  We warmly welcome all men, women, and children, from every walk of life and extend to you the love of Jesus Christ, who lives and reigns in unity with the Father, and the Holy Spirit, One God, now and forever!

Sometimes – or maybe all the time – it is more interesting to listen to a puppet telling us about the love of God, than to listen to an adult.  Why not join us for Puppet Ministry on the fourth Sunday of the month, from September to May?  We invite children to participate as puppeteers, in addition to reading scripture and leading the prayers.  The children are also invited to ring our church bell prior to the service!  Why not join us.  And if you would like to participate, just let us know by phoning the office at 506 328-4304!

The Christian Life

An excerpt from “A Handbook of the Faith” by David A.P. Smith, Bancroft, ON 1997 What is a Christian? A Christian is not: the person who goes to church, although the good Christian will try to worship God in church every Sunday; the person who says prayers and reads the Bible, although the good Christian …
